Biography
With more than 25 years of legal experience, Mr. Davies currently focuses his practice on estate litigation, guardianships, elder law, estate planning and administration. He also represents clients in the Appellate Division, municipal court, and with real estate transactions. Mr. Davies regularly gives seminars and attends to Q&A sessions on estate planning and end of life issues to various community, religious, and civic organizations.
While primarily practicing in Monmouth and Ocean Counties, Mr. Davies also represents clients in courts throughout the State of New Jersey. Mr. Davies experience has also led his involvement in the reported decisions of In the matter of Catanio, 306 N.J. Super. 439 (App. Div. 1997) and Levchuk v. Jovich, 372 N.J. Super. 149 (Law Div. 2004).
Mr. Davies is a member of the NJ State Bar Association, the Ocean County Bar Association, and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. He is currently a member of the Supreme Court of New Jersey’s Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee and has previously served on the District IIIA Ethics Committee and Fee Arbitration Committee and serves as President of the Board of Trustees of Presbytery of Monmouth in Presbyterian Church, U.S.A. Mr. Davies has also held various local civic and legal positions, Chairman of the Tinton Falls, NJ Planning Board, Member of the Tinton Falls Zoning Board of Adjustment, Ranney School Board of Trustees and the Monmouth Regional High School Board of Education.
Mr. Davies also served as a Governer’s appointment to the New Jersey Task Force on Abuse of Persons who are Elderly or Disabled.
Mr. Davies attended Ursinus College in Pennsylvania where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in History and International Relations and The Dickinson School of Law where he received his Juris Doctorate.
